CLIENT OBJECTIVE: AWARENESS
In honor of Black History Month, Procter & Gamble wanted to shine a spotlight on a very special group of African-American scientists who took on the challenge of creating P&G’s first shampoo engineered specifically for African-ancestry hair: Pantene Gold.
SOLUTION: SOCIAL VIDEO
The Epipheo team developed the creative direction for the video and filmed interviews with each member of the Pantene team. In post-production, an even stronger narrative arc emerged from the interview footage, and a good story became even better.
RESULT: OVER 350,000 VIEWS
The video was the second-most engaged-with post on the P&G Facebook page for the entire year! It racked up over 350,000 views and thousands of shares and reactions.
CASE STUDY: FIREFLY
CLIENT OBJECTIVE: BRAND LAUNCH
Firefly was launched by Hertz as a new, super-low-cost rental car brand. It was designed to stand out and appeal to millennials outside the typical Hertz demographic of older business travelers.
SOLUTION: SOCIAL VIDEO ADS
The YouTube campaign was targeting millennials—who hate being advertised to. To appeal to them, the campaign plays with the typical tropes and clichés about internet marketing (skip/play buttons, pop-up ads, jingles, celebrity endorsements, mascots, etc). The campaign comprised an intro video followed by 3 more episodes and pre-roll “teaser” videos.
RESULT: MASSIVE AWARENESS
With over 4 million views, this video series achieved massive awareness for Firefly and was a vital contribution to the overall 12% increase in EBITDA for Hertz Global Holding.
