This is a live playable build of the Splunk Pipeline Pursuit interactive experience — an OpenTelemetry escapade built by Epipheo for splunk> to teach the fundamentals of an OTel Collector through hands-on play.

Why Games

Why do interactive games outperform every other B2B format?

A 60-second explainer is great. Ten minutes of hands-on play with your product is unbeatable. Custom browser games turn the way buyers learn into something they actually want to do.

01

Dwell time, not bounce.

Trade three-second hero scrolls for eight-minute play sessions. The longer they stay, the deeper they understand.

02

Show, don't sell.

Players learn what your product does by using a version of it. No claims, no jargon — the gameplay is the demo.

03

Built for the funnel.

Leaderboards, scores, and end-of-game CTAs that hand qualified leads to your sales team — gated or open, your call.

04

Trade-show fuel.

Booth crowds, conference activations, hospitality suites. The game travels with your team and works without them.

How we work

How does the interactive game development process work?

The full Epipheo creative process, retuned for interactive. We bring the same story discipline to gameplay loops, level design, and end screens that we bring to every animated frame.

01Discover

Find the hook.

What does your product do that nobody else can demo? We find the single mechanic that turns into a game players actually want to finish.

02Design

Storyboard the loop.

Gameplay flow, end-screen CTA, leaderboard architecture. Frame-by-frame mocks of the entire experience before a single line of code is written.

03Build

Develop & Test.

Our dev team builds the core engine, integrates your brand assets, and sets up the cloud backend for scores and lead capture.

04Ship

Launch & Optimize.

We handle the deploy to your site or event kiosks. Post-launch, we monitor dwell time and completion rates to ensure the game is hitting your KPIs.

Common questions

The short answers.

If your question isn’t here, ask it on the form below — we usually reply within a business day.

How long does a typical build take?

From signed brief to launchable build: usually 10–16 weeks for a single-game program, depending on scope and platform. Most clients see a playable prototype in week four.

What does it cost?

Custom games typically start at around $30K and go up from there depending upon the style, platform, and live-ops needs. We scope every project as a fixed bid against a written brief — no surprises.

Where does the game live?

Anywhere your buyers do. We embed in your existing marketing site, ship on a dedicated microsite, run booth kiosks at events, or wrap it in a native app for hospitality suites.

Do you build the leaderboard and backend?

Yes. Every game ships with a cloud-hosted score service (AWS by default), a live leaderboard, lead capture, and the analytics hooks you need to prove ROI.

Can we own the source after launch?

Always. You own the IP, the source, the assets, and the deploy. We hand off a complete repo and a one-pager handoff doc that another studio could pick up tomorrow.

How do you measure success?

We set the success metrics with your team in week one — typically a mix of dwell time, completion rate, leaderboard submissions, and marketing-qualified leads. Dashboards are live from day one of launch.
