Share the success stories
Even the most ringing endorsement can be made more compelling by being turned into a story.
What are they?
We’ve all seen testimonial videos. The emphasis here is on the storytelling part. It’s the difference between an infomercial and a documentary.
Who are they for?
You. It’s hard to imagine a company or organization that couldn’t benefit from a Storytelling Testimonial Video. Social proof is a powerful thing. When prospects are in the consideration phase, seeing someone with a similar problem experience success can go a long way in convincing them to take the next step.
The Storytelling advantage
Credibility
When one of your customers is willing to spend their own credibility on your behalf, it speaks volumes to your prospects. Word of mouth is still the strongest form of marketing known to mankind.
Intrigue
Well-told stories have tremendous power to draw people in. And your prospects are bombarded with thousands of messages every day. Make no mistake, they need to be drawn in. Enticed. Intrigued.
Authority
Reality is authoritative. It’s hard to argue with a true story. And when you can make that story clear and compelling, you infuse your message with authority.
Why Epipheo?
The story matters
It’s about more than just pointing a camera at a customer and getting them to say nice things. You have to know how to build a story from the ground up with what you’ve got. It’s what we do every day. We take the raw materials and craft meaningful stories that create epiphany moments.
We think on our feet
We plan as much as we can before we start filming because we know that while plans can be worthless, planning is priceless. Just like everything else in life, things don’t always go to plan. So, we have to improvise. Keep moving. See the opportunity in the obstacle. You can trust that, with years of experience and a passion for telling compelling stories, we’ll come up with creative solutions to capture the right moment.

An Animated Testimonial?
Really?
When you think of a testimonial you probably imagine video footage of a real-life customer sitting in front of the camera telling their story. But there is another way to do a testimonial video that actually allows you to do things visually that aren’t possible with live action production. In fact, it’s often much more engaging.
Case study:
23 and me
Sonny’s story is a perfect example of what’s possible when you take the candid audio from a real-life interview and then interpret the story visually with animation. In this case, we recorded Sonny explaining what it was like growing up not only not knowing his heritage, but not even knowing who his own father was. The genetic testing company 23 And Me provided played a critical part in making it possible for Sonny to meet his father for the first time.
Video styles
Animation. Live action. Motion design.
What’s right for your project?
Videos come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and styles. We should know. We’ve created thousands of them. The question we always ask is, “What’s right for this story?” The visual approach should always serve the message, not the other way around.
Sometimes the answer is character animation. Other times it’s best to grab a camera and crew. And then there are times we turn to motion graphics and iconography. Check out our portfolio to see all the possibilities.
